Hello everyone, sorry for the delayed posts. I’ve been quite busy with m “other” (real) life to have time to write about my #SydFoodAmazingRace!!!!
Next stop was the very famous Bourke Street Bakery that’s on everyone’s must try list. To be honest? It’ll not be on mine anymore. I like it, but not enough to travel that far.
We went during early breakfast/morning tea hours so it was welcoming to see the array of baked goods in the display cases. IT WAS SO HARD TO CHOOSE what we wanted! But we did our research!
Almond Croissant: This was a disappointment. It was way too dense. Yes I understand almond croissants are meant to be denser but this didn’t come with a strong almond flavour.
Ginger Creme Brulee: This was VERY good, and I don’t even like ginger. Smooth creme, crispy caramel and nice gingery taste.
